Founder / Head Barber
Born in Shizuoka, Japan. Raised watching the work of his family’s barbershop.
After graduating from Nihon University with a degree in Economics, he chose to pursue a hands-on craft and enrolled in beauty school.
He studied cutting in London and participated in hair shows, expanding his perspective internationally. In 2017, he moved to New York and worked at a local barbershop, where he experienced both classic barbering techniques and the barbershop culture rooted in the streets.
After returning to Japan, he helped launch a men’s grooming salon in Tokyo and grew the shop as its manager. In 2026, he founded OGWBarber in Mitaka. He chose a one-chair setting to work closely, one-on-one, with each client.
Not to chase trends,
but to refine each man’s personal standard.
That is his philosophy of barbering—
and the essence of wellbarbering.
